It’s been a week since the O-Show trade optical fair in Sydney and I am still on a high from catching up with loads of our beautiful stockists.

We had an exciting 6 new models to launch at the event - The Beach and The Nile which came out early this month. People found a sprinkle of OG Jonathan Sceats in The Nile and I must admit, there is definitely a mine of inspiration with Jonathan’s archive!

Models coming in a couple of weeks are all new colours in The Sharp, including a second run of Fire Opal that features on our marketing material, and a new model called The Bright. She is inspired by The Light, just a little smaller, with a more modern profile and deliciously chunky sides. Check out the colour combination on colour Fly High - the opaque red on white mother of pearl is stunning, and is sure to be replicated on future frames all over.

We are so excited to share with you the three latest Miss Lou models:

The Palms - a perfectly balanced round frame in a riot of colour - this frame is not for the faint of heart!

The Gram - a quirky angled little number - The Gram is for the sophisti-cat out there.

The Light - grab the spotlight with this bold square frame - I adore the Brick in the Wall pattern on this frame - 1980's anyone?

Teiger will be photographing all the new frames tomorrow - a total of 18 pieces to add to our happy collection!

Don't forget, these are all limited edition pieces - the plain or duo colours are all limited to 40 pieces worldwide, and the fabric models are 75 pieces worldwide. When they are are gone, they are gone!

I love designing and drawing - I always have. To have this opportunity now, to create fabric designs, then frame designs, then website design - this is all a dream come true. To be able to do it with my family is an even greater gift. To only work with unique, independent optical practices is incredibly special.

I thought you might like to see the process of creating a new pattern - this one is called AUSTRANOSTALGIA - inspired by growing up in Western Australia.
